Internet Track and Trace

In today's demanding times, being able to provide fast and accurate information on where your consignment is in transit is critical.

Track and Trace facilities are available at item level via our website www.directfreight.com.au for all clients, large or small. We are able to provide internet track and trace at every stage through our new Dispatch Freight Management System.

The upgrade is currently being rolled out to all existing clients using our previous system. We will shortly be launching our new web based Dispatch Programme, which will provide similar benefits to our smaller clients.

Our new programme will also enable accurate consignment pricing as well as receiver notification of sendings.

Melbourne Expansion

We have recently purchased a 1.87 hectares property next to our existing depot in Campbellfield. This will enable Direct Freight Express to expand and upgrade our facilities in Victoria.

New Sydney Depot / Head Office

January 2008 we opened our new facilities in Warwick Farm. The move from our previous premises in Chester Hill was executed very efficiently. Our clients did not experience any transition issues or deficiency in service during the move.

Faster "Pass the Parcel" in New Sydney Depot

Direct Freight Express have installed a 5,000 parcel per hour sortation system enabling read rates previously thought impossible.

As parcels with bar code labels travel along automated conveyors, their labels are read by high speed Laser Scanners (See central photo in above montage) that instruct the appropriate sorter to send the parcel to a specific destination.

Our automated parcel sorting system increases productivity, speed and efficiency which soon will be installed in every Direct Freight Express depot in Australia.
